If you're a millennial you likely grew up watching "Saved by the Bell." Maybe you stuck with the show through "The College Years." Hell, maybe you even witnessed Zack and Kelly get married in "Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas." And you probably grew up thinking, "Zack Morris is so cool!" Until a little YouTube series by "Funny or Die" shattered that illusion with "Zack Morris is Trash." And suddenly, every fan of Saved by the Bell was forced to reckon with the realization that Zack Morris is kind of a douche.
At least that was Nicole and Rolando's journey with the show. This week, the duo take aim at "Saved by the Bell" and the Peacock revival.
What is the legacy of the after-school sitcom for kids? Was AC Slater Italian or Hispanic? Why was Jessie Spano so hated by audiences back in the day? And how do you revive a show with a problematic main character? Peacock's answer: replace him with a poor, inner-city Latina. Is that enough? Listen to find out.

This week is all about America's favorite little orphan! No, not Annie. It's the one and only Punky Brewster! Did you grow up with this show? Rolando and Nicole certainly didn't but Eddie Z is the show's fiercest defender and helps explain why kids loved it. Does the show's wholesomeness stand the test of time?
Then, Soleil Moon Frye reprises the role that made her a child star in 2021's Peacock original, "Punky Brewster." Nicole comes swinging while Eddie Z bobs and weaves. Did the revival abandon the free-spirit that won over hearts in the 80's and maker her too "normal?" Is the show trying too hard by introducing LGBTQIA+ secondary characters - or did it miss the mark by not injecting Punky with a little queerness? Listen to find out.

It might be a mystery as to why The Hardy Boys have such staying power, but it's no mystery that Nicole and Rolando finally got around to covering this case! "Fate: A Winx Saga" is Netflix's latest "hit." But were you aware the show is a live-action adaptation of "Winx Club?" Nicole certainly wasn't when she first saw the trailer. But when she found out she pitched the show and everyone got to binging. Does she come to regret that decision?
This week, join us as we visit Alfea, a college for fairies who are learning the ways of magic. Not to be confused with Magix, the world it's on. Who or what are the Winx Club? And why has the original series upset fans in recent years?

"It's time for Animaniacs!" If you were a child in the 90's there's a high probability you read that and sang it. This week, Rolando and Nicole unlock the Warner Tower to visit the adorable Warner brothers and the Warner sister. And, they'll be kiki-ing with Animaniacs experts, Joey and Nathan Letson of The Animanicast, who spill all the tea they've gathered after meeting the show's voice actors, writers, and original creator.
